Test of Aurora HDR 2018

Saw information about Aurora HDR 2018 software.  Since most of my landscape photos are shot and processed as HDR, I was anxious to check out the software.  I have been processing most of my HDR photos in HDR Darkroom 2 Pro with some in Photomatix Essentials 4.0.  I have tested many other HDR packages, most had problems with aligning the images (I mostly shoot handheld).  Aurora HDR 2018 did a good job aligning my handheld images.  I am pleased with the results with Aurora HDR 2018.  The colors are more vivid.  Be aware, the resulting files are large.  With HDR Darkroom 2 Pro, files were 10-14 MB.  With Aurora HDR 2018, files are 25-27 MB!

My New Photo Store

I have been working on my photo store. I needed a place to sell and display my note cards and other photo creations. Looked at several websites for selling my note cards. Eventually, I settled on a system that adds coding on my website.

The system is called "ecwid". I did not want to have to pay a yearly fee (rather a transaction fee) but did not one that meets my needs.

Let me know what you think of the system and my note cards.

Portable Studio

I used my new portable studio for the first time.  It measures about 12 X 12 X 12.  A row of LEDs across the top for lighting (need a USB wall-wart to power it).  Comes with white, black, green and red backgrounds.

Not really worth the list price - but worth the money I spent on DealsKeeper.  Just the ticket for shooting small parts and objects.
