Pecos National Historical Park
The large structure in this photo was the Mission building. Other "walls" are remnants of the pueblo structures. These are the newest structures on the site. There are other (older) ruins at other parts of the site. The park is located East of Santa Fe along I-25.
Pecos National Historical Park also includes Forked Lightning Ranch - formerly owned by Academy Award-winning Greer Garson and her husband E. E. "Buddy" Forelson. Near-by is the site of Civil War Battle of Glorieta Pass. The ranch and battlefield are part of the Park, but not normally open to the public.
Canon EOS Digital T1i f/6.3 at 1/500 sec Aperture Priority 43.0 mm ISO 100 Three bracketed exposures (+2.0, 0.0, -2.0 EV) processed from RAW by HDR PhotoPro. Final processing with Photoshop Elements 9. (2/3/13)
